Seuua "Aaron" Dao is the Muay Thai instructor at Gazze Academy, with a lifetime of training that stretches from England to Thailand to Southern California. His journey began as a child in England, where a brief stint in karate planted the seeds of discipline and hard work, and the lesson he still teaches today: you get out what you put in.
As a teenager in the blue-collar Northwest, street altercations drove him back to martial arts in 1994. After exploring Kung Fu, Kickboxing, and Boxing, it was Thai Boxing that captured his heart under the guidance of Kru Yai John Steele, one of Grandmaster Sken Kaewpadung's top instructors.
Obsessed with the art, Seuua traveled to Thailand to live and train at Bangkok's legendary Jitti Gym under coach Jitti Damriram and champions Singnum and Samsadak. His skill and determination earned him a rare invitation to fight at Rajadamnern Stadium, the Mecca of Muay Thai. Returning to England, he sought out Grandmaster Sken Kaewpadung himself, training weekly to preserve the core traditions and life lessons of the art. Championship-level bouts followed, but Seuua always returned to the gym to refine technique and deepen his craft.
In 2002, Seuua crossed to the United States and trained under Cambodian kickboxing champion Master Oumry Ban in Long Beach. He continued competing at the highest levels, then in 2006 channeled his lifetime of experience into teaching, founding Seuua Daao Muay Thai in Los Alamitos, California.
Today, Seuua has trained local and international champions, hosts seminars with Golden Era Thai masters, and since 2015 has served as the Muay Thai coach for five-belt champion Cris "Cyborg" Justino. His passion remains the same: to pass on the discipline, respect, and fierce spirit of Thai Boxing to every student.
